UNLEASHED doesn’t stop when the sun goes down.
From 09:00 on Saturday until 10:00 on Sunday, Explorer Scouts take part in one continuous programme of challenges, activities, entertainment and after-dark experiences.
There isn’t a separate “day programme” and “evening programme” - the whole event is designed to keep moving from morning, through the night and into Sunday.
ARRIVE. SET UP. GET READY.
Groups arrive, pitch camp and get settled before the programme begins.
THE BEAST IS UNLEASHED.
The 25-hour programme begins and the site comes alive.
THE ENERGY BUILDS.
The day shifts into evening with more activities, entertainment and bigger shared experiences across the site.
IT DOESN’T STOP.
As night properly sets in, UNLEASHED changes gear with night-time activities, atmosphere and experiences designed for the hours when most events would normally be winding down.
25 HOURS COMPLETE.
The programme finishes before groups pack down and head home.
WHY 25 HOURS?
UNLEASHED launches in 2027, the year Explorer Scouts celebrate 25 years.
That anniversary inspired the original idea: 25 hours of non-stop action for Explorer Scouts.
But the 25-hour format isn’t just for launch year. It’s the concept at the heart of UNLEASHED - one continuous programme that runs from Saturday morning through to Sunday morning.
25 hours is what makes UNLEASHED, UNLEASHED.
WHERE IT HAPPENS
UNLEASHED takes over Dummer Down Farm in Dummer, Basingstoke - the Home of BEASTLY - for 25 hours of non-stop action.
CAMP. RESET. KEEP GOING.
UNLEASHED is a full weekend experience, with camping as your base throughout the event.
Groups arrive on Friday, pitch up and get settled before the programme begins on Saturday morning. From there, the site stays alive right through to Sunday.
You’ll have somewhere to regroup, recharge and sleep if you need it - but the event itself keeps going.
Overnight camping is part of the experience, not the end of it.
