UNLEASHED is built for Explorer Scouts from across the UK, and we're delighted to welcome Girlguiding Rangers along for the adventure too.

Whether you're coming with your Unit, a District group or as part of a larger contingent, the event is designed for young people who thrive on challenge, adventure and night-time experiences.

You don't need to have been to BEASTLY before. You just need to be ready for 25 hours of activity, atmosphere and a weekend that keeps moving.

CAMPING & STAY

Your camp is your base for the weekend.

Groups arrive on Friday, pitch camp and get settled before the 25-hour programme begins on Saturday morning.

You’ll have somewhere to store kit, regroup, recharge and sleep if you need it - but the event itself keeps running right through the night.

Camping is included as part of the UNLEASHED experience, with practical details such as pitch allocation, facilities and arrival arrangements shared with booked groups closer to the event.

THE EXPLORER EXPERIENCE

An event designed around the way Explorers want to experience adventure.

Most Explorers will attend with their Explorer Unit, District contingent or another organised Scout group, accompanied by the adults supporting that group throughout the weekend.

The programme is designed around the Explorer age range from the start - bigger challenges, late nights, more independence and a programme that keeps going long after most events would normally have stopped.

TRAVEL & ARRIVAL

Most groups will arrive on Friday evening, giving you time to pitch camp, get settled and be ready for the programme starting at 09:00 on Saturday.

If Friday arrival doesn’t work for your group, Saturday morning arrival will also be possible - you’ll just need to be set up and ready before the 25-hour programme begins.

We’ll share full arrival windows, parking, coach/minibus arrangements and site access details with booked groups closer to the event.

BOOKING & COST

25 hours of adventure for £55 per participant.

UNLEASHED costs £55 per participant for the full event, including access to the 25-hour programme of activities and entertainment. Leaders are at a cost of £10 each.

Bookings are made by Explorer Scout Units, District contingents, Ranger Units or other organised groups.

Places are limited, so we recommend booking early to secure your group's places.

FOOD & FACILITIES

Self-cater or let us take care of the cooking.

Groups can choose to bring their own catering equipment and prepare their meals throughout the weekend, just as they would for a normal camping weekend.

Alternatively, we're offering an optional catering package for £55 per person, available to both participants and leaders.

The package includes five meals:

• Friday: Evening meal

• Saturday: Breakfast, lunch and evening meal

• Sunday: Breakfast

Catering places are limited and subject to availability, so we'd encourage groups interested in this option to request catering when booking. Once capacity is reached, groups will need to make their own catering arrangements.

There'll also be food and drink available to purchase on site, giving everyone the option to grab something extra without relying on it as their main catering plan.

Water points, toilets and other practical site facilities will be available throughout the event, with full site information shared with booked groups closer to the weekend.

WHAT TO BRING

Come ready for a full weekend outdoors.

Groups should plan for a normal camping weekend, plus everything Explorers will need to stay comfortable through a 25-hour programme that runs day and night.

We’ll publish a full suggested kit list closer to the event, but expect the usual camping essentials, suitable clothing for the weather, footwear for activities and anything your group needs for self-catering.

You'll register as a group, with the adults attending alongside your young people included as part of your booking.
