UNLEASHED needs adults who can bring energy, skills and enthusiasm to 25 hours of non-stop Explorer adventure.
BE PART OF THE TEAM
UNLEASHED is powered by volunteers.
Whether you’re running activities, supporting the main stage, helping with logistics, welcoming groups or keeping the site moving behind the scenes, there’ll be plenty of ways to get involved.
You don’t need to be an activity expert to be useful. We’ll need a mix of people, skills and experience across the whole weekend.
Programme & Activities
Help run challenges, support activity zones and keep Explorers engaged across the day.
Main Stage & Entertainment
Support stage activity, entertainment, audience moments and event atmosphere.
Site & Infrastructure
Help keep UNLEASHED running smoothly by supporting site setup, facilities, equipment and infrastructure throughout the event.
Camping & Overnight Support
Support the evening and overnight experience, helping keep the event safe, welcoming and well organised.
Volunteer & Participant Support
Help look after our volunteers and Explorer Scouts, supporting catering, wellbeing, inclusion and a welcoming event experience.
Event Planning & Coordination
Help bring UNLEASHED to life behind the scenes, supporting event planning, organising teams and coordinating activities before and during the event.

We're building the team that will bring UNLEASHED to life. From programme planning to volunteer support and wellbeing, we're looking for passionate people to help turn our vision into reality.

WHO CAN VOLUNTEER?
UNLEASHED needs adults who are ready to get involved and help deliver the weekend.
Most of our volunteer team will already be involved in Scouts - whether you’re an Explorer Leader, part of another section, a District or County volunteer, or someone who helps behind the scenes.
If you’re not currently registered with Scouts, that doesn’t necessarily rule you out. If there’s a suitable role for you, we can help you through the process of getting involved as a Scout volunteer before the event.
You don’t need to be an activity instructor or have loads of event experience. We need a mix of people — practical people, organisers, leaders, problem-solvers and those who are simply happy to get stuck in.

WHEN DO WE NEED YOU?
There are ways to get involved before, during and after the event.
Some volunteers will join the team in the months leading up to UNLEASHED, helping plan areas of the event and shape how things will work.
Others may only be available for the weekend itself - helping with set-up, programme delivery, overnight support, site operations or pack-down.
You don’t necessarily need to commit to everything. We’ll match people to roles based on availability, skills and where help is needed most.
